This collection was designed as a key collection for the Reebok Classic's "Rhythm of Light" campaign. This young and vibrant lifestyle collection was used as the premier echelon of Reebok's "Classics" line. It was defined by the expression of what "Rhythm of Light" meant to the female consumer. These pieces were meant to be seen and stand out in the crowd of boring lifestyle athletic wear. They are grounded in street culture and the energy that comes from dancing until 2am to an incredible DJ. I drew graphic inspiration from the lights of a dark club and the grittiness of the urban landscape.
This lifestyle collection was designed with the young fashionista in mind. This bold and vibrant collection of apparel and footwear are her go-to pieces that help her stand out within her group of friends. The graphics are a modern revival of a tribal pattern. By mixing linear and geometric shapes with bold colors, I created a fusion between tribal esthetic and Reebok's sport heritage. For the footwear pieces, I simplified the pattern and color palette. This helped the pattern become more of an accent piece rather than the focal point of the footwear.
When I first heard that Reebok was doing a collaboration with Hello Kitty, I nearly exploded with excitement. The Hello Kitty brand was not only a staple of my childhood, but has become a world wide phenomenon with followers in all age groups. I enthusiastically began sketching what I thought Hello Kitty should look like for the Reebok brand. Pairing Reebok's heritage in aerobics and fitness seemed like a natural fit of Hello Kitty's fun and and energetic esthetic. Ultimately, we went for a subtle approach with out first launch. Focusing on high end materials and finishes. We went for a simple repeat of "Reebok Kitty", using tonal, high density printing and an adorable enamel bow lace lock. As the seasons progressed, we adjusted "Reebok Kitty's" appearance and the prints became more light and youthful. This transformation is clear in the FH2010 "Winter Wonderland" collection, that features an embroidery applique patch and snowflake companion print.

This collection of t-shirts was created for Reebok's "Classics" segment. This lifestyle collection pays tribute to anniversary footwear pieces such as the "Freestyle" and the "Workout Lo". It closely represents Reebok's heritage in 80's culture and music. I love creating product that can display a persons individuality. Through the use of specialty inks and treatments, such as high density, heat reactive and gloss inks, these t-shirts engage the consumer in a new way.
